Spend a day or even two at the world renowned Buffalo Bill Historical Center, housing five unique museums under one roof. 

There is the Cody Firearm's collection, Plains Indian museum, Bill Cody wing, Whitney Gallery of Western Art, and the Draper Museum of Natural History which opened June 4, 2002.

Then, off to the Cody Nite Rodeo, a family favorite nightly from June to September see bull riding, calf roping even watch the children experience special events in the rodeo arena. 

Old Trail Town is located on the west end of town and is an historic home site for numerous cabins, Butch Cassidy, among them, along with Jeremiah Johnston being buried in this historical little town.

There is a nightly "shoot out" downtown, a reenactment of an old fashioned western shoot-out of yesteryear. 

Make sure you ask your host or hostess about the wonderful day drives we offer to you.  Take a day, head East to one of the first Indian Medicine Wheels, while traveling on one of Wyoming's scenic by-ways. Or you may choose to head South and spend a day soaking in one of America's largest hot springs.  There are many day trips available, just ask!

Nestled at the foot of the very rugged and scenic Beartooth Mountains, the small historic town of Red Lodge, Montana is a summer visitor's paradise. It is the eastern gateway to the spectacular Beartooth Highway, which climbs through alpine scenery to an elevation of 10,947 feet. Charles Kuralt called this drive 'The most spectacular highway in America'. The highway typically opens for the summer in late May or June, but can be temporarily closed by snow even in summer months. The seventy-mile journey will take you to Cooke City, Montana and the Northeastern entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
There are two entrances to Yellowstone National Park close to all of our rentals.  The east entrance is 55 miles from Cody and the Northeast entrance is 85 miles thru Chief Joseph scenic Highway.
